Forklift licence course in Rome and Anagni
Driving a forklift truck requires the certification set out by Italy's Legislative Decree 81/08. The course takes you from theory to the practical test and ends with a certificate valid across Italy: the first step towards working in warehouses, logistics and building sites, and with us too.

Safety rules and the responsibilities of a forklift operator under Legislative Decree 81/08.

Types of forklift, components and safety devices, stability and load capacity, pre-use checks, maintenance and the most common hazards.

Driving in the yard: manoeuvres, picking up and setting down loads, safe handling. It ends with the practical assessment.

Once you have completed the courses and obtained the certificates, you can apply to work at a GF Carval branch: warehouse, yard, deliveries and rental are our everyday work.
Frequently asked questions
Is the forklift licence mandatory?
Yes. Forklift operators must have the training and certification required by article 73 of Legislative Decree 81/08; the course length and content are set by the State-Regions Agreement of 17 April 2025.
How long is the forklift licence course?
The course for self-propelled industrial trucks, the classic forklift, lasts 12 hours of theory and practice and ends with an assessment.
How long is the certificate valid?
The certificate is valid across Italy and must be renewed every 5 years with a 4-hour refresher course, which GF Carval runs.
Can I work at GF Carval after the forklift licence course?
